HindustanBills vs myBillBook
If you are choosing between us and myBillBook
A GST billing and inventory app for Indian small businesses, priced per plan with the desktop app on the higher tiers. We do one trade — clothing, saree and footwear shops — and nothing else. Below is what each of us is actually better at, with their prices quoted from their own site and the date we read it.
Straight answer
What myBillBook does better
Read this part first. If any of it is what you need, stop here and buy theirs.
- E-invoicing, which we do not have. Above ₹5 crore turnover it is mandatory for your B2B supplies, and that alone should decide it.
- SMS and WhatsApp marketing built in, on the higher plan. Ours is a WhatsApp message you send yourself.
- Godown management and a wider report set on Pro Max.
- A much larger company behind it, with a support organisation and a long roadmap.
Choose myBillBook if you need e-invoicing, you want built-in SMS or WhatsApp campaigns, or you sell more than clothing.
The other side
Where we are the better fit
All of it follows from doing one trade rather than every trade.
- Staff accounts are included rather than counted. Their Plus and Pro plans cover one user plus a CA; a counter with two people billing is a different plan there and the same plan here.
- The 5%/18% GST rate on garments worked out per piece after the discount. myBillBook's clothing page does not address it.
- Alteration jobs with promised dates, and exchanges credited at what was paid.
- One plan with everything in it, so there is no cheaper tier with the useful parts removed.
